“ANYTHING GOES” OPENS JANUARY 22

AT PEMBROKE 4 ART GALLERY

VIRGINIA BEACH –  Some art exhibitions have a theme, and then there are some where just about anything goes. Pembroke 4 Art Gallery celebrates the latter with the aptly named “ANYTHING GOES” exhibition which promises an eclectic, highly varied  collection of art subject matter and styles.
A gala reception from 7:00-9:00 pm, Friday, January 22nd – free and open to the public – will launch the exhibition with the artists in attendance. Guest artists include Claude Stephen Boyer, Brock St. Clair Childress, Laura Gibbs, Catherine Mein, Eric Mein, Erick Murray, Victoria Myers, Teresa Phillips, Cathy Sprague, Martine Strohmeyer and Jenny Windsor. The exhibition will be juried by artist Susan Check.
Managing artists at the Pembroke 4 Art Gallery include Elizabeth Waitekus, Kay Dotson, Sandra Starkey, Nancy Topping Bazin and William Campbell, who will also participate in the exhibition. William Campbell has donated a painting to be raffled off, with the proceeds to benefit the gallery and the Haiti Relief.
The Pembroke 4 Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Pembroke 4 Office Building, Suite 128, 291 Independence Boulevard, just west of Pembroke Mall. Parking is free and the gallery is open 9-1 and 2-5 Monday-Friday. “ANYTHING GOES” will be on view through April 16th, 2010.
